I was born in Huelva on 15th June 1993. I discovered badminton when I was 8 years old thanks to a classmate. Since then I have fallen in love with this sport and it has become my way of life. Little by little I won some awards. This achievements lead me to go to Madrid (Joaquín Blume Residence) alone when I was only 14. There I continued my profesional journey with Fernando Rivas, my coach ever since. It was hard for me and my family but time showed us that it was the right decision. I have always believed that the best way to achieve my goals is to believe in myself through hard work and sacrifice, that's why my motto is "I Can Because I Think I Can". As a Junior I won several medals in Europeans and World Championships and even won several international tournaments against professional players. As a Senior I continued to grow until I won 26 medals, including the gold medal at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, three World Championships (Copenhagen 2014, Jakarta 2015 and Nanjing 2018) and six European Championships (Kazan 2014, La Roche-sur-Yon 2016, Kolding 2017, Huelva 2018, Kiev 2021 and Madrid 2022).
